How do we mourn?
We are so torn!
The pain will stay
Forever I say
I cannot eat
I do not sleep
Within this day
It’s hard to pray
Where can I get
A moments rest
I’ll focus on
Each shallow breath
This pain I know
I must get through
Moment to moment
Is what I’ll do
If someone died
And no one cried
What a sad reflection
On their life
I may not see you
Day to day
But in my heart
You’ll always stay
So in each tear
I struggle through
I will embrace
My love for you
